VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Race Management

Training Sesson Saturday 11 April 
 
We’re running training sessions for volunteers who’d like to assist at Club Racing, as well as the fantastic line-up of Open Events taking place throughout the year. The seasonal time commitment we ask for in return is up to you - we’ll be grateful for what you can give.
 
You’ll get hands-on experience in:
  • Race timing and start sequences
  • Visual signalling
  • Recording results
  • Understanding how on-the-water race management really works
  • Critical shore-based roles
International Race Officer, David Lovegrove, will guide you through each role making sure you feel confident and ready to step into a race day team. Whether you’ve been around boats for years or you’re simply keen to get involved in a new way, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
